The Englewdood Farmers Market will be back again this coming Thursday, February 23rd at Pioneer Plaza, on Dearborn Street in Englewood, FL. This is one of the largest markets in Sarasota County and is considered by many to be the best overall in Florida. Over 80% of our vendors are food and food related with some of the best produce and baked goods in the area. The market opens at 9 AM and closes at 1 PM. 

The weather will be in the 80’s and sunny all day. Come early and stay a while. You can buy food for lunch and stay and listen to the music. See you on Thursday.

The Englewood Farmers Market will be in operation again this coming Thursday, February 2nd at Pioneer Plaza on Dearborn Street in Englewood, FL. The Market runs from 9 AM to 1 PM every Thursday through April and has over 57 vendors offering a wide variety of foods, produce and products to satisfy everyone.

The large, wide avenues make it easy to navigate the market area and offer ease of use for walkers and wheel chairs. Dogs are allowed at the market as long as they are on a leash and controlled. There are new, well maintained restrooms located in a separate building and parking is available on Dearborn street in over 85 parking spaces. In addition, there are two county parking lots just off Dearborn street with easy access to the Market.

The beginning of a new year here in Florida, means the deluge of Snow Birds is upon us. This also means the number of people visiting the Englewood Farmers Market will increase dramatically, The last week of our market in December saw over 6,000 people at the market. We can expect this number to increase by 25 to 40%. This also means fewer places to park, so get to the market early and be patient. We hope everyone has a Happy New year.

This coming Thursday, December 22nd, will be the last Farmers Market before Christmas. The weather may be a little cool but that will get us into the Christmas spirit. All of our vendors will be there and they are looking forward to seeing the Englewood community come out and shop for some great food and produce. The market is a rain or shine market so even if we have some rain the market will be open.
